Add your firmware's build number and WiFi signal strengh to the status bar of your device! You don'tneed to supervise to add a custom status bar. Special thanks to @iTechExpert for the assistance.
How To Get Custom Status Bar Step 1 Download iBackupBot for Windows and iTunes onto your computer if you haven't already.
Step 2 Download Custom Status Bar backup using the "GET" button above. Step 3 Open the Custom Status Bar backup and extract the .zip. Step 4 On the device itself, disable "Find My". If you don't know how to, search on Google for instructions. Step 5 Connect your device to your computer and open iBackupBot. Step 6 In iBackupBot, click "file", "open" and select the folder where the extacted Custom Status Bar backup is located. As we are adding the customised status bar onto our device, select the "ADDSTATUSBAR" folder and not the "REMOVESTATUSBAR" folder. Step 7 When the backup is imported, click "+" by Add Custom Status Bar, then click "System Files". After clicking this, under the "Backward" text there should now be folders. Naviagte to "HomeDomain">"Library">"Preferences" Step 8 Find the file ".GlobalPreferences.plist". left click on the file once, then right click and select "Restore selected item(s) to device" Step 9 Enter the password "1111" and then click on "restore". Make sure to turn off Find My on your device, otherwise the restore will fail! Step 10 Now the Custom Status Bar backup will restore onto your device. Once done, you will now have WiFi signal strengh & firmware build number in the status bar. You can now re-enable "Find My" if you'd like to as well.
How To Remove Custom Status Bar Step 1 follow Steps 1-5 for "How To Get Custom Status Bar" Step 2 In iBackupBot, click "file", "open" and select the folder where the extacted Custom Status Bar backup is located. Step 3 When the backup is imported, click "File">"Restore" Step 4 Under 'Please select the contents that you want to restore", select "Partial Restore" instead of "Full Restore". Step 5 Untick "System Files" and "User App Files". Then click on the arrow by "System Files" and tick "Other System Files" Step 6 Enter the password "1111" and then click on "restore". Make sure to turn off Find My on your device, otherwise the restore will fail! Step 7 Now the Custom Status Bar backup will restore onto your device. Once done, you will not have WiFi signal strengh & firmware build number in the status bar anymore.
How To Get Custom Status Bar Step 1 Download iBackupBot for MacOS if you haven't already.
Step 2 Download Custom Status Bar backup using the "GET" button above. Step 3 Open the Custom Status Bar backup and extract the .zip. Step 4a Check your MacOS firmware by going click on the Apple logo on the top left hand side of the screen, then clicking on "About This Mac". If you are running Version: 10.15.7 or later, move to step "2b". Otherwise move to step 5. Step 4b Download Retroactive, an iTunes port for newer MacOS versions. After downloading, go to your downloads folder, and click on "Retroactive.zip" to extract it. Step 4c Navigate and open the extracted folder, then right click on "Retroactive", and select open. MacOS will block the app from opening. Click on "cancel", then repeat this same step again. Step 4d This time Retroactive will open without fail. If you see the message: "Update to a newer version of Retroactive" simply click on "Run Anyways" Step 4e Click on "install" below iTunes, then click on "continue". Now iTunes will start downloading. You may be asked to enter your Mac password for security reasons. If so, enter your password. Step 4f Once iTunes is installed, you will see a screen which says: "One More Thing". On this screen, select "I don't need to sync with this iPod". Even if you need to sync with an iPod Touch, you can still skip this option. Step 5 On the device itself, disable "Find My". If you don't know how to, search on Google for instructions. Step 6 On the Mac itself, open System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Click the lock to make changes. When prompted enter in your passcode to the Mac itself. Step 7 After the lock is unlocked, click "Full Disk Access">"iBackUpBot" and click the check box to tick it. If iBackUpBot doesn't show up, click the "+" near the bottom, navigate to "Applications" and select "iBackUpBot" from there. Step 8 Connect your device to your Mac and open iBackupBot. Keep in mind iBackupBot crashes a LOT on Macs. If the app crashes, simply re-load it and repeat the instructions which weren't saved. Step 9 In iBackupBot, click "file", "open" and select the folder where the extacted Custom Status Bar backup is located. As we are adding the customised status bar onto our device, select the "ADDSTATUSBAR" folder and not the "REMOVESTATUSBAR" folder. Step 10 When the backup is imported, click "+" by Add Custom Status Bar, then click "System Files". After clicking this, under the "Backward" text there should now be folders.
